Windows 10: Windows Installer issue - msiexec.exe

This application keeps popping up as I use chrome and every time it opens windows installer chrome stops loading anything as if I had no internet. The problem is only fixed if I end the task. There was no error message that I have seen and it started about a week ago from Nov. 16, 2020.


I'd really appreciate some help with my issue,

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

If you having an issue installing a driver that worked before you formatted or wont install on a fresh build, sometimes this means hardware damage

I suggest you to unregister and re-register the Windows installer service by following the steps provided below and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + R keys to open the Run Dialog box.
• Type msiexec /unregister and press Enter/click on OK to unregister the service.
• Press Windows + R keys to open the Run Dialog box.
• Type msiexec /regserver and press Enter/click on OK to re-register the service.

Try to install the application and check for status.
