Windows 10: windows installer

I am having problems installing software Macrium v7 it returns a message saying I maybe in safe mode our windows installer is not installed correctly. After contacting macrium they asked me to set windows installer to standard in services. On investigation it is stuck on manule and i can not change. it was also stopped when i started it again it would still not install macrium v7.
Is there a download lin to reinstall windows insaller service?,or any other Help please.

Many thanks for the advice, I ran the installation in compatibility mode as suggested, there was no Windows 10 in the drop down menu, I tried Windows 7 as this was the last time it worked, the installation of the videowalander failed on all three attempts.

I've now ordered the Windows 10 compatible version.

Just a note- presumably you are either trialling this or have a license- the latest free version is v6.

That said, can you install anything else? (Try a freeware program).

Try tweaking.com's free cautious repair tool and select only repair 21.

That is normal. Windows Installer service is fixed as manual startup and you can't change it.

Even if you could there is no such option as "standard" for services so their suggestion makes no sense.

I would try as @dalchina says and install something small like 7-zip and see if install works. If that is OK download macrium again - perhaps your installer is corrupted.
