Windows intermittently thinks keys are held down, as if it's not captureing the "key up"...

This isn't an issue with the keyboard, this is an issue with Windows itself. I've had 4 different Windows 10/11 PCs who have all exhibited this issue. What will happen is Windows will simply, intermittently, miss the "key up" signal from you releasing your keyboard key. This more often happens when the computer is under high load, like when playing games, and/or when several keys are pressed in rapid succession or at the same time. This can also happen while typing, and the letter will simply repeat, until you press it again resulting in text like this: "helllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllo", desp

    Control key held down

    Hi Azaruddin,

I again tagged a few items for batch processing, ie. held the Shift Key + Control Key to select a number of items, then I got the message Control Key appears to be held down and then it selected items at random, but I could not remove the selection. To be
honest, I did not make a note of the error message thinking that I would try again and use the Snipping Tool to capture the message. Typical Windows 10, I cannot now repeat the problem but cannot believe that it has gone away. In reply to your question as
to whether it only occurs while using the Microsoft Office Suite; mostly, but not always. Sometimes it has done when I have been in the pictures folder and wishing to move items to another folder. Bewildered !!

Key press beeps go funny if a key is held down (E71)

    Hi everyone,

Has anyone else noticed that the beeps produced by pressing a key go a bit funny if a key is held down for a few seconds to make it beep repidly?

If I'm scrolling down a long list of files, the key beeps change to what is almost a double beep, then if I do it again theres a click and it all goes back to normal.

I don't think this is a hardware fault, as its never been dropped, has done this since day one, and only happens if I hold a key down as opposed to pressing it quickly.

    Anyone else noticed this?
