Windows is copying files from a folder that was initially empty when I first copied it.

When I copy a folder that is empty at first, then I move some files inside the folder, and then I paste the "empty" folder to anywhere else, windows is not copying just the folder that was empty at the beginning but is also copying the new files I added AFTER I copied the folder. Is this normal behaviour? Is the command "Copy" in the windows explorer not really copying the initial state of a directory but rather just "remembering" the path of a folder so when you "paste" it somewhere else is just duplicating everything that is in the file address, not remembering that when I first "copied" it t

    Java.nio.file - Copying files

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one
