Windows 10: Windows is limiting my download speed on laptop

Good day,


Laptop with windows 10 is downloading to less of half the speed expected. Other device do pass download test with the correct speed.


So far I've:

• Checked for virus and malware nothing found.
• Have set delivery optimization values to the bare minimum.
• Checked for network activity, nothing.
• Have stopped BITS, Update Orchestrator and Windows Update service

None of those have worked so far.

Slow Download Speed

• I would suggest you to test the speed using any of the speed test website or app to confirm the upload and download speed.
• I also suggest you to reset the wireless router to check if that helps.
  
• You may plug in the Ethernet cable if available and check the speed.

Limited WiFi download speed

Hello, my other laptops/devices have download speed up to 25mb/sec while this laptop only downloads 500 kb/sec no matter what I do.

I have restarted tried the following:

1) device manager, network and tried updating drivers / devices

2) I tried to go to network settings and reset the settings

3) I tried to update anything I know or can think of or found online

nothing helped.

Any links / suggestions?
