Windows 10: Windows is not booting BCD error and TIME STOP error

Two weeks ago my computer was working successfully, until one moment whereas the HDD was flashing uncontrollably and I was unable to use the computer as everything froze. My solution was to restart, we've all done it sometimes in these moments and the computer simple restarts and Windows boots.


Except this time, I get a /BCD error and also a TIME STOP error. I do what I've done before in this situation; load windows using Windows recovery go into a command prompt, then into DISKPART, and do various BCD /fixmbr as well as the other BCD commands, except this time; nothing is working. I was neglectful and didn't fix an issue with the boot issue weeks ago, but windows was still working so I'm wondering when this issue occurred if the reason why I'm not able to resolve using DISK PART is because of this. I could be wrong, but I don't think that Windows became corrupt it's just unable to be found; and I don't have an option of re-installing Windows, I have crucial important information that I cannot loose, therefore, I have to get windows recovered as it was just a week ago.


Why a week, well; I didn't attempt to fix it any earlier, I'm hoping someone can help; the methods are not working which I would use in this situation ?

• What is the make and model of your device?
• Have you made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?
• Are you able to boot the device to desktop with this error message?

This issue might have occurred due to corruption in the boot files or BOIS unable to detect your drive to boot.

0xc0000225 boot error

For some odd reason when I turned on my computer today, I was greeted with the error 0xc0000225 stating that my NLS files were corrupt/missing. I am Running Vista x64 and so far have tried the following:

Replace NLS files
Windows repair utility
Restored an old working registry backup
Tried booting with different ram configurations
Created new BCD / Boot
Chkdsk


Google suggests something about apci, but my gigabyte ud3p doesn't have such an option (already vista compatible) and it seems to only occur to people who are initially installing and not people who already have a working copy.
