Windows 10: Windows is not working right!

My brother updated his computer, and has had struggles doing anything.

It worked fine yesterday, but between then and now it decided to not work.


List of things that are happening:


- He has SSD, but his sign in takes over a minute

- After signing in, it black screens, then loads in applications without a background.

- He can't open any application, including Command Prompt which is scary or any on board program start button, Cortana

- He also can't connect to internet, because the administrative scanner can't connect to search anything!


He has restarted his PC well over ten times, as well as power cycled to try and restart everything!


We need help, please!

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
