  1. Windows Is really slow after changing my Monitor.

Hi, yesterday I installed a new monitor to my PC, but now my PC is slow, starting up and shutting down takes forever and today it just doesn't want to login after 2 hours on being on the logging "welcome" screen. The monitor I had was a 1366x768 connected to My grahics card (Rx580) via Hdmi to Vga converter. The one I have now is a 1440x900 connected through the same way (with the HDMI to Vga cable). Right now it logged in but in a different user than mine (even though there's only one user) With a message saying something like: Could not log in to your user, logging out now would solve the problem in most cases.

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit

    Hi Ron,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    • What changes did you make in the BIOS? As making the changes in the BIOS is only recommended by Microsoft if done by the manufacturer.
    • How are you connecting to the 2nd monitor?
I suggest you to follow the steps from this article below:
