Hello Dear IT Support Community,My name is Cem. I am a Master Student in Information Systems and an IT Supporter for 6 years. In order to save us from solving routine and repetitive issues and tasks everyday situation I started developing my zero trust, AI powered chat bot which solves %50-%60 of tickets under 120 seconds without a technician intervention.I will pitch my idea in 2 weeks and I need help from you, dear colleagues who is working with windows systems.Answering the forum lasts less than 2 minutes but gives me great insights and advantage over other start-ups. New install Windows 10 (issue solved)

you can edit the title to say "issue solved", or "fixed " with the 'thread tools' option,under 'edit title' at the top right of the OP, so other who dont read all the posts dont keep posting suggestions *Wink

 

Windows Start issue

Try this:

Right click on your start menu, and click on System:





When the system window comes up, click on Advanced System Settings:




There, click on Startup and Recovery:




Then in the top menu you will have a choice of OSs. Select the one you want to boot to defaultly and uncheck the box for "Time to display list of operating systems."




That should make it boot into Windows 10 without your intervention.

It's basically what I mentioned above, small issues here and there ,but nothing to end your day.. for the most part.

I know it's anecdotal, but for my experience 95% of the time it's perfectly fine. The issues I've run into wouldn't be enough for me to roll back , but they would be enough (had I not installed it yet) ,to avoid it for another couple weeks which is why I'm suggesting it to the OP
