Windows 10: Windows just forced an update and now it just goes black after startup...

So I got a message last night that my Windows certificate or license was expiring and I need to update. So I did and now my computer (a Microsoft Studio 1) starts up with the grey screen with the white Windows logo, then after that it's nothing but black. I can still hear the computer running but nothing. I did leave to walk my dog and came back and moved the mouse and got the "wake up" noise but nothing on screen.

Any ideas on how to fix this??

Laptop Goes to Black Screen at Startup

Hi Greg,

Unfortunately my laptop did not make it past step two. I've gone into my BIOS menu and had my installation media drive as the prioritized boot option with fast boot disabled, but I am still getting to a black screen after my manufacturer logo appears and
the circle spins. Attempting to reach the Advanced Startup Options menu by force shutting down the laptop three times in a row also led to a black screen. Are there any other options?
