Windows 10: Windows keeps freezing and takes eternity to load system apps

Hello,

So I’ve recently encountered this problem and it makes me really mad. So here’s the thing ; Windows boots normally, and works perfetcly the first 10 minutes, but after that when I for example want to open File Explorer, it won’t open and I can’t open anything. But if I already opened an app I would still be able to work on it etc. I just can’t click on nothing because nothing works, sometimes I have to wait like 15 mins and the pc will work fine after but the problem repeata every time. I don’t think it’s a hardware problem because I have pretty new stuff in my pc so I think it’s windows itself.

Please I really need help.

Computer Keeps Freezing

It froze again, and the common problem I see throughout most of the freezes is a driver atksgt.sys being blocked from loading. It is related to Tages Protection from Tages SA and it says it has a driver that is installed that causes stability problems with my system. It says it will be disabled but I think this is why my pc keeps freezing. Any suggestions as to what it may be for and/or if I can get rid of it and how?

I never downloaded a program from Tages SA so I am not sure what it could be from.

If your computer is freezing, it could due to the operating system being outdated, or that some applications in your system is causing it to freeze, etc. For us to isolate the issue about Windows 10 freezing, kindly respond to the questions below:

• When does Windows 10 hangs/freezes? Is it after logging in to Windows? Or is it when you are using an application?
• Are there any third-party applications installed on your computer?
• Did you upgrade to Windows 10 from a previous version of Windows? If yes, which version of Windows was previously installed on your computer?

As a first troubleshooting step, we suggest that you check if there are updates that are waiting to be installed on your computer. If there are, kindly install them and restart your computer. After restarting, check if Windows 10 still freezes. Here's how
to check for updates in Windows 10:

• Press the Windows key + I to open the
  Settings app.
• From Settings, select Update & security >
  Windows Update, then select Check for updates.

geforce experience takes an age to load..

Well that's why I asked. Mine is on SSD and takes 11 seconds. Your list of games will not appear if it has not checkd for updated suggested settings for awhile until it checks.

When it says it is refreshing the game list, it is checking, because NVIDIA periodically updates suggested settings. Plus it will look for those for new games you have installed.

So, the less it is run, the slower it will be.
