Windows 10: Windows keeps going back to a previous state.

I am running windows 10 and have one of the most frustrating problems I have ever encountered! Basically, I run windows and it if fine for a few weeks or even months and then it boots up one day and it has gone back to a previous state.By this, I mean that If I add a program, files or even tabs to my browser today, if I shut down my laptop it will restart with yesterday's configuration and all of my work is lost. It keeps going back to a certain point over and over again. THe only way to actually fix this is to format the whole drive and reinstall windows which I have done 6 times in 6 months.

I would suggest you to refer the steps mentioned below and see if you are able to remove the language pack:

1. Type command prompt in the search bar on the
   Taskbar.
   
2. Right click on the command prompt icon and select
   Run as administrator.
   
3. Now, paste the following command and hit Enter:
   lpksetup /u en-US.
   
4. Restart the computer.

Windows keeps reverting back to previous version.

The issue with Windows 10 update reverting back to previous version could be due to corruption in Windows Update component files.

We would like to ask some information to better assist you with your concern:

• Which previous build and version of Windows 10 are you using?
• Did you get any error messages or error codes?

We suggest that you try to run
Windows update troubleshooter and check if it works.
