Windows keeps installing a second mouse

Windows keeps installing a driver for a second mouse that dosent exist and it makes my mouse disconnect. This is starting to get really annoying. If i uninstall the second driver in device manager under mice and other pointing devices my mouse works for a random amount of time untill windows decides to install that driver again and then the mouse starts disconnecting again at random. I have tried to stop all auto installing in the registry editor, but windows installs the driver anyway. I have tried the mouse on another computer with windows 10 installed on and no problems. Please help me fix

    :)

  3. MOUSE NOT DETECTING ON INSTALLATION WINDOW

    Hello,

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

I would appreciate if you can provide us the following information to help us understand the issue better?

    • What is the make and model of your system?
    • Have you tried to use this mouse on another System?
    • Have you tried any other mouse on the system you are getting issues?

I would suggest you restart your system and uninstall and reinstall the mouse drivers.

Follow these steps to uninstall and reinstall the driver:

      • Press “Windows Logo” + “X” keys on the keyboard.

      • Click on “Device Manager” from that list.

      • Search for the “Mice and other pointing devices”
from the device list and expand it, right click on it and then select “Uninstall”. On the un-installation window, if you have an option: “Delete the driver software for this device” you may
select that and then remove the corrupted drivers from the computer.

      • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete it and restart the computer.
Once it gets uninstalled I would suggest you to go to the manufacturer website and install the latest driver from there and check.

Hope this information helps. Reply to the post with updated status of the issue to assist you further.

Windows keeps installing a second mouse

Mouse Cursor on second screen changes randomly

    • Did the issue only occur when you updated your graphics card?
      • Appears to have only begun with the new graphics card. It's an AMD RX480 card. I uninstalled all Nvidia drivers prior to installing the new AMD drivers. It doesn't occur on the first monitor, only second. Which would indicate either something in the
translation between monitors or something along those lines.
    • Are your drivers up to date?
      • From my understanding they all are, I try to keep everything up to date.
    • Have you checked if the problem is the mouse itself?
      • I do not currently have a second mouse, but the fact that it's only when it tracks to the second screen. On first screen everything is good. The normal cursor displays, but when I track to the second screen that's when the weirdness happens.
    • Are you using a wired mouse
      • Yes
