Windows 10: Windows Keeps Locking Up

I'll be browsing the internet or whatever and suddenly the mouse cursor locks up and then a moment later the whole PC does and I have to manually restart it. It happens at least once a day. I don't know what's causing this but it's a problem because sometimes it happens during Zoom meetings and my boss loses his temper he knows nothing about computers and thinks I'm screwing around and I'm scared to speak up because he doesn't let us talk. Why does this happen and how can I stop it? It's not a virus because I have antivirus software that has worked for years.

Lock Screen keeps changing

Windows Spotlight picks the photos from Bing and displays them in the lock screen. I understand that you have set a picture and it is getting changed automatically.

I suggest you to follow the steps to select the Picture that you want to be displayed on the lock screen. Please follow the steps mentioned below to set a Picture to lock screen:

1. Press and hold Windows + I key on the keyboard to open settings.
   
2. Click on Personalization.
   
3. Click on Lock screen.
   
4. Click on the drop down under Background and select
   Picture.
   
5. Click on Browse and select the picture that you want to set.

• When you say that the computer keeps locking, does it happen due to inactivity or does it happen while you’re working on the computer?
  
• Does the computer go into sleep mode or does it lock the currently logged-in user account?
  
• After the computer is locked or after it goes into sleep mode, what happens when you try to sign in to your system or try to wake the system up?

Lock screen woes

I would suggest you to follow the below steps to try resolving the issue.

Setting the timeout for Lock Screen

• Press Windows + I and select personalization.
  
• Select Lock screen.
  
  
• Select the Screen Timeout setting.
  
• Select the time of timeout you need and check.
