Windows 10: Windows keeps resetting to factory default when I turn on the computer or restart

Windows keeps resetting to factory default when I turn on the computer or restart, deleting any settings, files, or internet links on the computer.

Computer keeps turning off after I factory reset it.

I was wondering what the problem was that caused you to reset it to factory settings in the first place?

Download an ISO of the Avira AV boot CD, burn it on your own computer, and then boot from that CD on your mom's computer and run a cleanup.

Seriously, you should just download a Windows disc and format the laptop. Best and easiest course of action.

If you are incapable, or uncomfortable with following any of the recommendations on how to restore the laptop, then I recommend you take it to your local IT guy and ask him to do it for you. Sometimes the best of us have to visit a ripoff merchant to get something fixed, or even just tested...

 

Computer keeps turning off after I factory reset it.

i factory restarted my laptop from the boot screen and the restart worked but now it keeps turning off on its own. Ill sign in and then it will just go black and turn off. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

its an Asus Model X550J. Intel CORE i7
