    Windows keeps saying it need to RESTART to finish installation of update


    Windows keeps saying it need to RESTART to finish installation of update. This keeps happening no matter how many times I restart my PC. It appears to be hung on KB5048667. This is the message that pops up each time I restart the computer:2024-12 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 24H2 for x64-based Systems KB5048667How do I stop this?

    Updates keep showing as 'require restart to finish installing'


    Here's what I see:

    Windows keeps saying it need to RESTART to finish installation of update 21693d1485951992t-updates-keep-showing-require-restart-finish-installing-looksgood_1.png

    Which both look good until I see this...

    And it seems doing a restart doesn't help.

    Updates keep showing as 'require restart to finish installing


    i updated the other day, and after it was done it asked for a restart. i restarted it and when it came back up it said it needed to restart. i continued what i was doing and when i was done restarted the computer. this has been going on for several days.

    After the restart it still wants a restart!!
