    This has happened to me before, not too long ago, and it happened about a week after I installed a new windows update. I could not find any help online, because they all said to use apps like powershell and settings, but they were suspended in task manager as soon as I tried to open them. I ended up having to do a system restore, which thankfully resolved the problem. A little while later, new updates came out, so I decided to install them I believe it was titled "Cumulative Update for" something. not sure what. All was fine, until literally 10 minutes before posting this, the windows key an

    Resume/Suspend Process

    Hi Wheeze, thanks for your question. I'm Graeme, a Microsoft Community expert and fellow user.

    Suspending processes then reactivating them can work or not, depending on how the process responds to the suspension.

    Probably the only surefire way to fix these errors would be to reboot. Try rebooting, then see if the processes are working again.

    Otherwise, let me know what specific processes you've suspended and I'll see if I can do more research on the problem for you. Thanks!
