Windows 10: Windows key not working on specific account windows 11

Hello all,On one account I have on my laptop asus tuf gaming a15, the windows key is working perfectly fine, however on another account the windows key, including its shortcuts, does not work at all. The combination ctrl + esc however does work.This started to happen a few weeks ago and is part of a few problems I've been having. I'm on Windows 11 Version 10.0.22000 Build 22000. Quite often the touchpad does not respond at all I checked to see if it was locked but the OS is perfectly responsive. The problem goes away when I sign out. Additionally, although I haven't seen this problem happe

Nope, you need to install Windows 10 first and make sure the Windows 7 key is transferred to your Windows account after you've installed Windows 10 (not quite sure how that works). I missed the last step and I could not activate Windows 10 after a re-install... Microsoft seem to have done everything they can to make it a PITA. Also, it's technically too late to do this now anyhow, as the upgrade offer has expired. But KMSPico works quite well...

As for getting rid of Windows, delete the Windows folder.

 

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown

Thanks but I don't want to do any decrypting. I want to download a Win 10 ISO from Microsoft and install it using my Win 8 key. No other steps required. Is that possible?
