Windows 10: Windows Key stuck after virtual desktop switch win + Left/Right

Hello,


Whenever I switch between virtual desktops with they keyboard shortcuts the windows key is "stuck" down and I need to spam it a few times to "fix" it. this has been going on for years on my system, even after a fresh install. Requesting assistance. Currently running:


Edition Windows 10 Pro

Version 20H2

Installed on ‎8/‎6/‎2020

OS build 19042.746

Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.551.0

Switch virtual desktop: WIN + CTRL + LEFT or RIGHT

  I found a bug on the newly released Windows 10 on the Samsung Ativ book 9+ (I'm not sure if this bug is found on other laptops). The function, "Switch virtual desktop: WIN + CTRL + LEFT or RIGHT," doesn't work with the ctrl button on the right side
  of the keyboard. However, it works when the ctrl button on the left side is used instead. I'm wondering if other users are facing the same problem.
  

 

Ctrl Key stuck after virtual desktop switch

The Ctrl Key would stuck around 50% of the time after virtual desktop switch using Ctrl+Win+Arrow keys. The virtual keyboard does not show Ctrl key as stuck. The fix is to press the Ctrl key for a few seconds and it would become normal again. But this is
very annoying. I use the virtual desktop a lot to use fullscreen remote desktop in a separate virtual desktop. But this bug is hurting the experience and causing problems.

This also happens when I use power toys to remap the Ctrl +Arrow keys to do the same thing.

This happens at both my desktop and macbook pro with bootcamp. It doesn't seem to be an isolated problem, but searching doesn't return useful answers.

Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

is there a trackpad gesture for switching desktops (windows+ctrl+arrow left or right)

is there a track pad gesture for switching virtual desktops in the same way the key command windows+ctrl+arrow left or right does?

if not is there a way to edit the track pad gestures? because I have no use for the three fingers left to right/right to left gesture and it would be really useful if I could make this gesture control switching between virtual desktops
