Windows 10: Windows/Keyboard

Hello. I have few problems with my laptop but I am not sure if it’s the laptop itself or the windows that having problem. But whenever I want to restart my laptop, it’ll appear like this. May I know why? For additional information, I think my laptop has issue with the keyboard since the ‘Shift’ keyboard is not working and there are times when I press number keyboard but special characters appeared instead of number. And whenever this happened, the performance of the laptop become the issue as well. I cannot refresh on desktop, multiple things selected at once whenever I clicked on a file, a ne

I suggest you to check if the issue persists when you connect another keyboard to your system.

If the issue is with the keyboard, then suggest you to update the keyboard drivers by following the steps below.

  Press Windows key + X and select
  Device Manager from the list.

  Expand ‘Keyboard’ from the list.
  
• 
  Right click on the driver and select ‘update driver software’ and follow the prompts.

Step 1: You may check if the ALT key is functioning correctly in on-screen keyboard. It will help us to verify if there is any issue with the keyboard.

Follow the steps below to open On-screen Keyboard.

Step 2: Run Hardware and device Troubleshooter.
