    I purchased two windows keys from the microsoft website a few years ago. all of my pc's have been running fine for years.A few days ago one of my pc's became deactivated no idea howa brief historyWindows Keys, digital keys major issues :purchased a Lenovo All In One, which came installed with windows 8, I purchased a windows 8.1 key from microsoft still have the confirmation email with the key listedI did the Free upgrade to windows 10, when it was available, so far so good, machine showed as activated with windows 10 digital licence.In the meantime I upgraded another machine packard bell to windows 10 pro and a home built Pc

    Digital license key

    What do you mean by digital license "key"? I've heard of a digital license for Windows 10, and I've heard of a Product Key for Windows 10, but I've never heard of a digital license key.
