Windows 10: Windows lags a lot in regular mode but works fine in Safe mode

    Windows lags a lot in regular mode but works fine in Safe mode


    I Installed a new HDD on my pc some days back and Installed windows 10. After updating the windows, It ran fine for 2-3 days, then it started to lag. Symptoms: Takes more than 30 seconds to open the Start MenuAnimations are laggyBoot is very slow, takes more than 5 minutes to bootCompletely hangs if multiple commands are given.Things that I've tried:Re-Install Windows 10 PRORe-Install Windows Windows 10 Home this timeDisabled all Start-up programsRemove all unnecessary windows applicationsReset the PCScanned the Hard drive using another computerSystem Specifications:2GB RAM2.6Ghz Processor M

    My win 10 works fine in safe mode but lags a lot in normall mode

    Guys plz help me. . . . Win 10 works great in my pc before creators update. . . . But now its lagging. . . . Even small games whose system requirements are very very low in my pc lags a lot. . . . I have 4 gb ram and core 2 dual 2.8 gh processor. . .
    . Plz help. . . .

    Its does not lag a bit in safe mode . . . I also has tried clean boot but nothing works. . . .

    Unable to Start in Safe Mode Win10

    I understand that as repeating the basic problem. Is that what you mean? I can't tell you why- some sort of corruption- hence all the steps I'm suggesting. Please try each in turn.

    The first are to check for basic forms of corruption and so proceed onwards in order.

    KVM switch only works in Safe Mode

    I don't know if you guys seen it or not, but I posted a thread a few days ago. So I finally got the KVM working...but there's still in issue.

    For some reason the KVM only works in Safe Mode. When I do a normal boot the screen goes blank after the Windows 7 splash. I can hear Windows loading, but no video. I booted into Safe Mode and it works fine in safe mode so this eliminates the KVM being the culprit. I suspected it might be the resolution, but it's much lower than the maximum supported resolution.

    Any idea?
