Windows 10: Windows lags extremely when TV is connected

Hello,whenever I start or end an application which uses Fullscreen on my Computer, my PC will freeze for 10-30 seconds and my mouse won't move, my corsair rgb lights will stop their cycle of colours and nothing will happen, though sound from Spotify still plays over the speakers. This also happens when tabbing out of a full screen application to e.g. switch to another Video on YouTube. It also can take minutes to change the resolution in a game and in some games the lag is so bad that the timer that pops up after changing the resolution runs out and the resolution will be reset to what it was

Connect Samsung Smart TV to Computer

We suggest that you follow these steps:

• Connect your PC and TV in same network.
• Got to Start and click on Settings.
• Open Devices and chose Connected devices from the menu on the left.
• Click on Add a device.
• After the wizard finished, just click on your TV and follow the instructions.

2. Is this the first time you are trying to connect the TV?
   
3. Have you tried connecting the TV to any other PC?
   
4. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
   
5. What is the make and model of the PC?

In addition, I would also suggest you to refer the article
Network settings from the TV manufacturer and see if that helps.

Connecting laptop to tv

Hi Ro,

There might be a configuration in your TV that we need to change to resolve this . For better assistance, we would like to gather more information:

• When you connected the HDMI to the TV, what source/display option did you choose?
• Have you tried connecting the HDMI cable to a different TV/monitor?
• Have you tried using a different HDMI cable to connect your computer and TV?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
