Windows 10: Windows laptop not working - blue screen, blank screen, normal, blue screen again.

Hi! So I got my laptop back from repair yesterday and the motherboard was replaced. The first thing I saw when I opened the laptop was a blue recovery screen which then changed to the blue screen with : on it. I don't know much about computers at all but I'm assuming that's bad. It updated and went back to normal. Today i opened it and it opened normally, and then it went back to the blue recovery screen, and then the screen with : on it. I did a hard reset and it hasn't loaded up yet, it's stuck on a blank screen with the fan on. I'm not sure what to do. It's still under warranty. Does anyo

Bitlocker Blank blue screen at PIN screen

Our organization requires Laptops to be Encrypted with a PIN #. One of our Laptops is giving me trouble. I have Bitlocker turned on and fully encrypted and have require Startup PIN with TPM in the Require additional authentication at startup in GPEDIT. I also have the Enable use of Bitlocker Authentication Requiring preboot Keyboard input on Slates enabled. When turning on the Laptop Bitlocker comes up with the light blue screen where you enter the PIN but the screen is blank. It doesn't say Bitlocker or have a box to enter the PIN #. Now I can just type the pin # and press enter and it works and loads windows as normal. I obviously can't give this Laptop to a user like this.

Anybody have any suggestions as to a resolution to this issue.

Hi all, Please bear with me as I'm not very computer literate lol!
My daughters laptop (old dell c400) just went to a blue screen when starting up! Anyway,was told to re-load windows disc. However there's no cd drive or floppy drive!
Found an old external floppy drive but don't have windows on floppy!
Also ran diognostics and it passed everything until it came to DST SHORT STATUS TEST,then came up failed! Any suggestions or is it a brick?*Bang Head :banghead:

 

Windows 7 Blue Screen of Death!

This is the first time i have ever got the blue screen, but it keeps on occurring, and so i cannot get onto that hard drive, it shuts down within a second of the blue screen showing itself, which doesnt give me any time to read it lol. So i am completely confused as there is no Path of: "C:\WINDOWS\Minidump" as well
