Windows 10: Windows live login password

After an update my computer would not recognize my password. After 3 days of trying different things I decided to try by email password. It worked! Don't know why but it did. After it opened, I closed computer and restarted it. This time I could switch the option and did so to my pin number. It also worked! Just like nothing had ever happened! Go figure!

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???

If yes, I suggest you to try to login in to your Microsoft account on other working computer. If you have forgotten your password, I suggest you to reset Microsoft account login password.

Password not accepted on live login

I'm unable to login to my PC, my password is not accepted, I'm using Microsoft live login, so I reset my password on line. New password works with all devices, so it's been changed. But still I'm unable to login in to my PC, except by using Safe Mode,
although my password is the pre changed one. I can't change from live login to local login as option to change is not displayed.
