Windows 10: Windows Live Mail POP3 account 0x800CCC0F error when sending mail

I am using Windows Live Mail to access a POP3 account from my internet provider. All of a sudden it stopped working. I haven't changed anything. Somehow, I managed to get the receiving mail service working again, but am unable to send mail from within Windows Live Mail. Can still use webmail and also send and receive emails through the Gmail app on my phone.My current outgoing server settings in Windows Live Mail are:Outgoing mail SMTP: www.domain.com.auLogon using clear authenticationMy server requires authenticationOutgoing mail port SMTP: 465This server requires a secure connection SSL

Windows Live Mail won't send mail

My problem is that I cannot send an email through my Windows Live Mail. I receive mail but can't send it. I get the following error message: Server unexpectedly terminated connection with either server or network problems.

On 15/12/22 when attempting to download emails in Windows live Mail I started to get this error message: "Unable to send or receive messages for the ...........................................account. Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Server: 'pop3.blueyonder.co.uk' Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0F Protocol: POP3 Port: 110 Secure(SSL): No". Since then I have checked the settings, deleted any potentially suspicious email, tried downloading with the firewall set to allow live mail through, and run a reputable (I think) clean up and repair programme. All to no effect. The internet connection is fine and I am able to send and receive emails directly from the Virgin Mail platform. A Windows update is recorded on 14/12/2022. I am still using Windows 7 and wonder whether the problem is associated with the recent decision to stop support for Microsoft Edge with this platform. Grateful for advice as to how to make Live Mail usable again.

Thanks for the help with this . . . . I tried the app route suggested by Dalchina (creating an app password and using that). I got the below error result and bizarrely I had a mail in my out box which went, I created other messages and they went. Settings; Incoming mail server: POP3 Incoming mail: pop.gmail.com outgoing mail: smtp.gmail.com Outgoing mail (SMTP) 465 Incoming mail (POP3) 993 Unable to send or receive messages for the Mike and Ann account. The email server returned an error.
