Windows 10: Windows live Photo Gallery keeps crashing after Windows 10 update

Since upgrading to Windows 10 the Windows live Photo Gallery crashes when I select more than one photo and right-click. When I use resize or delete all from the menu bar it works fine. Is there a way to resolve this?

Windows Live Photo Galery as default

I have been using Windows Live Photo Gallery on Windows 7. Installed Windows 10 and it had Microsoft Photos pre-installed. How to I get rid of Microsoft Photos and keep Windows Live Photo Gallery?

I asked previously about removing Microsoft Photos from Windows 10. The answer is I can not. I have used for years Windows Live Photo Gallery. The issue now is that when the Microsoft program pulls photos from Windows Live Photo Gallery they are then duplicated
in the Windows program. Is there a way to disable the Microsoft program?

 

Is there a Picture It version that is compatible with Windows 10?

As per the compatibility status, Microsoft Picture It is not compatible with Windows 10. Also, the development of the product has been stopped. You can use Windows Live Photo Gallery which is a part of Windows Essentials instead of Microsoft Picture It.

The Live suite hasn't been updated since 2012. Have you tried the new Photos modern app?
