When my kids were young, I used to blog with this program. I see that it is now discontinued. How could I find my old posts back? Thanks

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall Peachtree E-mail Writer and check if it fixes the issue. Follow the steps below to uninstall Peachtree E-mail Writer:

• Press Windows key + X.
• Click on Programs and Features.
• Look for Peachtree E-mail Writer and right click on it and click on
  uninstall.
• Reboot the computer after uninstall is complete and try to reinstall it.

Just to update this thread with CURRENT information for those that may end up here later...

Windows Live Writer doesn't work anymore (really).

Open Live Writer is that same codebase open sourced and updated to work in Windows 10!

So if you want Live Writer, go get it. Works great.
