Windows 10: Windows Lock Screen Image is Stuck or frozen and I Have a Question...........

Windows Lock Screen Image is Stuck or frozen and I Have a Question about the Settings Folderif that's what I should call it ?


My question was there was also in the Settings folder a folder named SettingsMaking the total of 3 files within the Settings folder.





I Right clicked on that Extra Settings File & selected Delete and it ended up in the Recycle Bin.





When I went to the Recle Bin I Wanted to Reinstate it into the Settings Folderbut I saw that this may have happened to it.





The Question I have Is how can I Place it back into the Settings FileFolder, if Neccessary?

You can use your own image of any background and just go to settings/personalize/lock screen and click on browse as in the image below. It should make whatever picture you use as the Lock Screen

• Is this issue occurs only when the pictures are set from OneDrive?

I suggest you to set the picture for the lock screen using the default lock screen pictures and check whether the issue persist or not, follow the below steps to set the pictures.

• Go to “settings” and click on “personalization”.
• Under “lock screen” tab, select the option from the drop box as “picture”.
• Then under “choose your picture” option, click on any picture and go to the lock screen, check whether the issue persists or not.

Lock Screen Image Issue

I would suggest you to set the default pictures as the Lock Screen picture from the PC and check if it works or not.

Follow the steps below:

• In start type "settings" and press enter.
• Select Personalize
• From the left click on "Lock screen"
• Select the default picture and conform by preview.
