Windows 10: Windows Lock Screen issue

HelloMy daughter's laptop recently went in for repair. It turns out that some files were corrupted so the laptop wouldn't start up and wouldn't diagnose or repair itself.Now that the laptop is back in our possession I have noticed that when the laptop is switched on it doesn't show the lock screen with the password request it just goes straight to her home page. I was wondering if there was a way to fix this as, obviously, this isn't very secure because if her laptop was stolen it can be used by anyone.I hope someone can help.Many thanksSara

Lock Screen Image Issue

I would suggest you to set the default pictures as the Lock Screen picture from the PC and check if it works or not.

Follow the steps below:

• In start type "settings" and press enter.
• Select Personalize
• From the left click on "Lock screen"
• Select the default picture and conform by preview.

  In the right panel, select Picture instead of Windows Spotlight.

No Lock screen in Windows 10.

I suggest you to follow the steps below to set the lock screen option as Windows Spotlight and check if it helps.

1. Right click on Desktop screen.

2. Then click on Personalize.

3. Click on Lock Screen.

4. Try to select Windows Spotlight from the list.
