Windows 10: Windows locks up and sleeps after a few minutes of gaming

I'm actually kind of worn out from this already. I know Windows is objectively one of the weakest systems in terms of gaming however Steam's biggest library is on Windows.When I'm playing heavy games such as Spider-Man remastered, I can comfortably play it in 2k with the optimal NVIDIA settings. The laptop remains really cold, it's a ROG STRIX.It was happening before so I upgraded it by following recommendations here. Windows 10 - Sleep Works But Only if 5 Minutes or Less

I've never seen at least one them not be successful.

I had suggested first to set Display at 0, Sleep at 1 minute and Hibernate at 2 minutes and then after each step sit back to observe. I have rarely had to work all the way through the list.

Absolute thoroughness is required when troubleshooting Sleep, skipping nothing and asking back if you need any help to complete a step. We often find out later that the fix was the skipped step, so please do not skip any. If you need help performing any step

Windows 10 Sleep/Lock Problem

This advice did not work for me.

Some one wrote this.... just upgraded to Windows 10 and my monitor will not come back from Sleep or Lock Mode without turning off the computer and rebooting.

I am and I am having the same problem with not coming back from sleep mode. If I press the on off button the monitor will come back on
but everything is locked up and then I have to turn it off on the tower. And then turn it back on. What I have found to work is turning the power options to never turn off or sleep and then just turn off the
monitor during the day and then just shut it off at night.

To be able to lock your screen while on Sleep mode, you can follow these steps:

• Press the Windows key.
• Type Sign in and hit
  Enter.
• Select the option When PC wakes up from sleep under Require Sign-in.
