    Symptom: I have just built myself a new PC and installed Windows 11 24H2 on it. Randomly after a restart once every few restarts after I get onto my desktop, I will just be unable to do anything. Cannot open programs, cannot shut down or restart via start menu etc. I can move my mouse around still, but thats pretty much it. What I then have to do is to hold the power button to shut it off and try again. Sometimes when I wait for long enough, I get a BSOD Driver Power State Failure What I tried: In the beginning I tried to rule out a hardware issue so I disabled EXPO in BIOS, ran Memtest86,

    I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
    Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin

    • Are there any third party applications that are currently installed?
