Windows 10: Windows login says I do not have a pin setup when I do

I have my computer reloaded and updated and have a pin setup for login. When I first turn the computer on it works fine. If the computer goes to sleep and when it wakes up and I try to login with the pin it says I do not have a pin setup. If I exit and try the pin again it works. It only says my pin is not setup the first time after it comes out of sleep.I have set my pin again and it still does the same. It's not earth shattering because I can either restart the computer and the pin works or I try the pin a second time and it works. But it's strange that it only happens after it comes out of

I have exact same issues with pin-code login (but I don't have fingerprint scanner).

When I (logged in as administrator) open abovementioned folder C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\LocalService

I have no \AppData\ folder in there.

System File Checker tool performed some checks, even reported few fixes, but did
not resolve pin code issue.

I suggest you to create a PIN for your device and try the on screen keyboard to login to the same.

You may follow the steps below to create PIN protection for your device.

  Go to Settings and select account.
  
• 
  Click on sign in option and Go to PIN option.
  
• 
  Now click on Add and set PIN for login.
  

You can use the same PIN to login to your device using the on screen Keyboard from ease of access option and verify the result.

Hi! When I try the first step (takeown) it worked just fine. But when I tried the second step (icacls) I got an error message "No mapping between account names and security ids was done.
Successfully processed 0 files; Failed processing 1 files". How should I proceed?
