Windows 10: Windows Lowers Volume on my Computer Whenever I Press Shift

This has been going since forever and I find it antagonizing. I can post a video but the main issue stems from VOL- flashing from the lower left corner whenever either shift key is pressed. I have checked everything but can't solve the problem.

HELP: Windows Volume Randomly Lowers and then Returns Issue

Hi, this has been happening constantly, I just never bothered to fix it until now, when its really starting to get on my nerves....

The volume of my PC sometimes randomly lowers the volume, and then the volume level returns to normal. In the process of shifting volume, there are some slight static noises.

This generally happens when the computer is being loaded down(like while gaming, or watching Youtube)

The volume bar doesn't change at all, just the actual speaker shifts in volume.

If I plug in earbuds, this still happens, just with the speakers of the earbuds alone.

Here's what I've tried already:

-check for new updated audio driver

-reinstalling the Realtek audio driver

-run troubleshoot

-disable all enhance audio settings

-checking off "don't do anything" in the communications settings

-restarting the computer multiple times

Any other suggestions?

 

Phone volume and music player volume are somehow interlinked, if i lower the volume of music player it will result in lowering the ringing volume.

My volume lowers whenever I press space, and increases whenever I press numlock.

Hi Malik, thank you for the reply, i have tried everything i saw above, but nothing seems to work, i was playing the so popular fortnite, and i have to press SHIFT + W to run, but sometimes i also have to press SPACE to jump, and it just doesn’t work now,
it just lowers the volume and i found out that NUM LOCK raises the volume, i just feel frustrated because i can’t fix it by myself and have to come to the internet to search for help and probably waste someone’s time to try and help me...
