Windows 10: windows mail app displays html code in emails

Mail Displays HTML Code In Emails In Mail App

Thank you for the suggestions. I ran the trouble shooter but it found no issues. I also accessed the emails (including the one from which I pasted my sample) via the browser and there was no problem. This means that I can read all emails as web mail
with no problems and also using Windows Live Mail, again with no problems. It seems to only be the Windows 10 mail app that is struggling and showing most of my emails in the sample form, i.e. with the message buried in a mountain of HTML code. Curiously,
of the dozen or so that I have received in the last two days, all display correctly on web mail and on Windows Live Mail but only one, the automated one telling me of your reply, displays correctly in the Win 10 Mail App.

Hello, I'm having the same problem with Windows Mail app for Windows 10. The font definitions and style codes are shown above my messages whenever I reply to an email.

On the website of the provider (mailbox.org) the email seems normal, doesn't display any code.. only in windows mail app. Is there any way to solve this problem?

This may be due to when Windows Live Mail is unable to read emails in HTML coded format. I would suggest you try the following steps and check if the issue gets fixed.

Method 1: Check settings.

1. Open Windows Live Mail and click on File > Options > Mail.

2. Now, click on Read tab and uncheck the box for
Read all mails as Plain Text.

Method 2: Add the sender to Safe sender's list.

Follow the steps below:

1. Open Windows Live mail and right-click on the email that you are unable to read emails from.

2. Select Junk Mail and click on Add sender to the Safe Sender's list.
