Windows 10: Windows Mail APP (Windows 10 64-bit)

I am using the Mail app and have these issues:

1. DURING composition and before sending, the MAIL APP CRASHES. This has happened twice in the past week.


2. THE DRAFT FUNCTION fails. In other words, there appears to be NO DRAFT background function an I consider this a BUG. What I have found that ON CRASHES there is no DRAFT of a long composition and thus, I am no longer using MAIL to draft anything but one word replies or short answers. THIS IS NOT GOOD.


3. I click on SEND after I draft even a short message or reply and sometimes there are SEND FAILURES.


4. MAIL SOMETIMES SENDS MINUTES after clicking SEND and I know this because I sent a message to my wife who was sitting next to me and a mail message NEVER ARRIVED. THIS IS RANDOM.


Mail needs work big time. IS THERE SOMEONE ON THIS?

GPU-Z update loop (Windows 10 64-bit)

I don't have better steps - this is all, I have nothing to add.

Maybe it is worth noting issue was on Windows 10 Enterprise, build 14393.187, so maybe you should test on the same.
My other PCs have a different Windows 10 version - Pro, latest Insider Preview build from last week, and there is no such issue on those.
All are 64-bit edition of Windows 10.

This issue is not new. I have had same 1-2 years ago too, with older GPU-Z versions.

EDIT: And yes, I have Windows 10 UAC enabled and set to defaults. If you are using your Windows PCs with UAC off, you likely cannot reproduce this issue. *Smile

I have seen many reviews which compare 64-bit vs. 32-bit and there is not much gain to see, unless you use specialized applications.

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
