Windows 10: Windows mail cannot connect to IMAP Mail it is connected to Outlook and I want to migrate...

I am trying to connect my email accounts from our business server to windows mail and having no success since last 24 hours. It gives giving me attention required. I click on each one of them, click either fix this, retype password or change settings. I have played around with all the settings with no luck. Everytime I try to sync and get mails , it stops working.PLease note, I am also using outlook app on this same computer. Outlook is connected to these accounts and it is getting synched properly. I want to stop using outlook and am trying to migrate these accounts to windows mail without an

Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

Change from IMAP to POP3, if supported by the email server, and make sure that "Leave a copy of messages on the server" is checked.

Otherwise, I wonder if changing where delete items goes, and unsubscribing the folder will work?









Example is with Gmail and it's All Mail folder, but if not, can create a folder for the the same purpose.

im pretty sure you can. i know outlook you can and windows mail is based upon outlook.
