Windows 10: windows mail dose'nt get messages older than 3 months. how can i fix this?

Do not get mails older than 3 days

Hi,



I have the latest Firmware update for E71 and the latest Nokia messaging 9.05(72). However I have never been able to get mails older than 3 days onto my Messaging application. I have changed the settings in the application to 1 month; however, still mails
are only for 3 days.



Can you please help.



Also, is there any way that we can preview the mails on the home screen like we can for the default mail application or SEVEN.

Nokia Messaging - Client keeping mail older than 3 days (N97)

Hi,



I'm using Nokia Messaging to retrieve my email on my N97. The installed version (taken from Options - About) is 10.1.0.13 (main).



I realise that you cannot change the "Remove older than" settings as this is 'fixed' at 3 days in this latest release.



Is the client suppose to then automatically remove mail over 3 days from the inbox, or is it that when trying to sync it will only pull mail down from the last three days?.



I'd thought that it was actually both, so am suprised that the Nokia Messaging client still is using mail from the beginning of October (given that we are now towards the end of the month).



Can anyone confirm how the client is suppose to work please?.

  Which Email client are you using?
  
• 
  What is the status when you are accessing older mails?
  
• 
  Do you see any error message or error code on the screen?
  

As a work around, I suggest that you repair your Mail by following these:

• 
  Press Windows + R, type
  AppWiz.cpl, click OK.
  
• 
  Select Windows Essentials 2012/Windows Live Essentials, click
  Uninstall/Change-or-Remove.
  
• 
  Click Repair all Windows Essentials Programs
