Windows 10: Windows Media Creation Tool Erased my Partitions including Bit Locked Partition

Hello I have got a 1 TB hard drive not SSD and it has got three partitions C, D and F. The F partition was encrypted with Bitlocked and contained all my necessary Data.I installed windows on Drive D assuming that it will only download and keep the files there but instead it cleared all the data in hard Drive including C drive and F Drive. Now it was only a 32 GB Bootable hard drive.What I did now is deleted the 32 GB partition also and now I have got all as unallocated Space.Is there any way to recover my whole Drive F.Regarding the F I have lost the secret key because it was saved on the sa

W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

- press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
- diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
- list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
- select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
- clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
- create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
- exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
- click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that

 

How to completely erase partition space?

so after i finish the install. i erase the windows media partition live meaning erasing it like erasing a folder?

i did delete all the partition before the clean install. dell kept a partition in the hdd if people needed to restore their computer.

 

Windows 10 media creation tool - missing warning, disk got erased without question !!

I have not done anything more or less than trying to copy the install files needed for win 10 setup on the external hard drive using the Windows 10 media creation tool. Suddenly my drive had only one partition of 32gb, and all other data on the 1TB drive
was erased and unallocated(raw). The setup itself is 4GB.

So what I did was:

1. Download and run Windows 10 media creation tool
2. Plug in my 1TB usb 3 disk
3. Select that disk in Windows 10 media creation tool and press proceed
4. Windows 10 media creation tool "Finished", drive was completely erased ..
