Windows Media Player cannot update album information to files to some of my musics

I have some MP3 files and recently I found that I can use media player to manage the song's album information, I get the album information automatically and change some information manually within media player. Then I want to update the information to the file itself to make other players recognize the information. And for most of the files it works.

By operating remove the fold in library and add again and update information and select "Apply media information changes".... After a series operate steps each time back and forth, some of the songs not updated during previous operations turned out to be updated successfully. However,

each time there will be some file remain not updated while the information in media player have already been modified. And I didn't found any special in these files.

Also I didn't find a way to sync the rating in media player to the file's property.

Windows media player version is 12.0.17763.1339.

Following is the screenshot as what I described above.

  2. Can not add Music album from Music library of computer to Media Player files

I have a few Albums stored in my Computers Music Library. I want to copy one particular album (the album has about 7 files - i.e. 7 music tracks) to
Windows Media Player album Library. When I right click on the album in the Computer's music library, one of the options is to
PLAY with windows media player - but another option is to
ADD to Windows Media Player List
......but when I choose the later (ADD to list) all that happens is that the album starts to
play - but does not get added to the Media Player album list. How do I overcome this problem. I am running Windows 7.

  3. Media Player - Find Album Information

When I try to Update Album Information from online servers the default server is: musicmatch-ssl.xboxlive.com

This server seems unable to find any music, even music that was previously found!

Previous versions of Media Player on my previous laptop searched for album information on Sony Music, I believe?

Is there a way to redirect or change the location searched for Update Album Information in Media Player?

    Thanx

  4. Windows Media Player cannot update album information to files to some of my musics

THE FIX for "Find Album Information" Windows Media Player for Windows 10

I was having difficulty updating my album info in Windows Media Player. I tried just about everything online to no avail. Then I followed these steps and it provided the resolution.

    1. On the Start Menu - Type Manage Optional Features - You may have to enter your Admin credentials.

    2. Scroll down and find Windows Media Player.

    3. Click on it and select "Uninstall." It will disappear from the list.

    4. Proceed to the top of the "Manage Optional Features" list and press the "+ Add a Feature."

    5. Scroll all the way down the list, and select Windows Media Player, and select "Install."

    6. Open up Windows Media Player, go to one of your Unknown Albums, right click on the Album picture, and select Find Album Information.

    I hope it helps you.
