Windows 10: WIndows Media Player Play Speed Slider

Under Windows 10 for Windows Media Player there was play speed slider to adjust speed of music, under Windows 11, it only gives the options .25, .50, 1., 1.5, or 2. With the play speed slider I could adjust the music to the speed I wanted such as 80 or 90%. Something that worked so great and then they change it to nothing workable : If there is a way to have a play speed slider, I haven't been able to figure it out.

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the settings of Windows media player and check if it helps.

• Open the audio or video file in Windows Media Player. If the file is playing in the Library window, click the bottom-right "Switch to Now Playing" button.
• Right-click anywhere in the Now Playing window, point to "Enhancements" and then select "Graphic Equalizer."
• Select the graphic mode you prefer, such as individual adjustments or loose/fine groups. The icon next to the selection describes it, and a textual description appears if you hover your mouse pointer over the option.
• Click and drag the sliders to change the pitch. You might notice the greatest effect around the 2 KHz slider, but what produces the most effect varies between people.
• Click the small "X" at the top right of the Graphic Equalizer pop-up to close the utility.

Faulty Windows Media Player

Windows Mesdis Player developed a fault (Played jerky an missed bits) so I down loaded Media Player 10.

It's no better. Any suggestions (I run Windows 98)
