windows media player puts cd1 and cd2 together

WIndows Media Player

I have 3 cds with .cda files. I want to convert these to WMA files(audio only) I put CD1 in and using Windows Media Player, was able to select the files and Rip them. When I put my 2nd cd in, the original files from the first CD still appear in the WMP
list. I cannot get the files from the 2nd CD to list so I can rip them. Any help???

 

Faulty Windows Media Player

Windows Mesdis Player developed a fault (Played jerky an missed bits) so I down loaded Media Player 10.

It's no better. Any suggestions (I run Windows 98)

and from the last link is the same error where you can just disable it too =)
