Windows 10: Windows Media Player wont burn mp3s to my Cd when putting settings to Audio Cd

When using Media Player I put m3s into the files to burn into the Cd like what some Tutorials say to put the settings to Audio CD If you want it to work on Cd players. But when I put a Empty Disc in it wont recognize the cd and say it Has no free space even though in the other setting it says it recognizes it and it says that there's no data been used. When I click burn when putting the mp3s in and using the Audio setting It says to put a empty Cd in. Can any one help with this or is it the CDs or cd burner I'm using? I am am using Verbatim DVD-R Blank Discs AZO Dye 4.7GB 16X Recordable Discs

Burning Audio CD in Windows 10

That's what's supposed to happen when you burn an audio CD.

Read a commercially produced audio CD with your media player (e.g., Windows Media Player) and you'll see a list of .cda files, although there is actually no such thing as a .cda file. What you are seeing is an index of the music on the the CD. An audio
CD is actually one continuous recording.

If you want to maintain the files as .wav or .mp3 you can burn a data CD. Keep in mind that a data CD won't play in an audio player.

What is the Make & Model # of the computer, and CD/DVD-RW drive? What brand of blank CD-R are you using? Or are you using an RW disc? As stated, RW discs take extra steps to use and not recommended for Audio CD's.

Not every brand of disc works with every brand of drive. As stated, use only Name Brand Blank CD-R's
You can update the Firmware for the burner drive from the manufacture to allow it to support different brands of Blanks.

Verify in the Burning App that the Recorder is supported and lists the drive in the app as the recorder.
With a blank CD-R disc in, open a burning program like CD BurnerXP, or any other burning app
Go to the top toolbar to Recorder, confirm the Drive is listed which means that drive is supported. If so, then go to Disc/Disc Information on the Toolbar to make sure this disc is showing as Blank and ready to be burned. Remember if you have a failed burn on a disc, throw it away, it cannot be used again, unless it is an RW disc
