Windows 10: windows media player

Discus and support windows media player in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I thought that I had read that win 10 would eliminate windows media player ? i'm not complaining but mine still works just fine 17427 Discussion in 'Windows 10 Software and Apps' started by calvin, Aug 18, 2015.

    I don't have just Windows Media Player in the list...

    Can't Transfer file from lumia 520 to windows 8.1 Enterprise N

    Versions N and KN lack Windows media Player. Part of this is connecting devices.

    If your operating system did not come with Windows Media Player, install the
    Media Feature Pack for your version of the operating system.

    Actually they got rid of Windows Media Centre. I never used it much so I don't really miss it. But for those that used it as a MPC, that was a killer as they now have to look for alternatives or not upgrade to Windows 10.

    The issue with WMP is it's buried like IE11. You have to look for it if you want to use it... *Rolleyes
