  1. WIndows Mic Help. 2020 Barely Audible Mic

Hi I am using a 3.5 mm jack to plug in a mic and headset combo to my desktop. I have a splitter coming out of the pc mic and speaker place that the headset and mic plug in to. The mic device is enabled on and in all areas and I can see the volume, when I test the Mic, showing that it is hearing the mic at 7%-9%, the problem is that is not audible for the people on the other end of the message and I cannot spend the entirety of the call yelling into the mic, plus it only causes additional loud static. In addition all Mic volumes and boosts are maxed making it all the more frustrating that the volume is only catching at 9%. I have taken the same headphones and plugged them into my ps4 controller and the mic and volume work perfectly. I then take the headset and mic and plug it into my HP laptop also running windows, and I get the exact same problem I am having on my desktop. The microphone was working perfectly on the Desktop 2 days ago! Can anyone help me? All drivers are up to date, all settings are a go, The mic is working, as illustrated by use in another device, and I cannot find the reason it is not picking up my speech or any volume appropriately and why it suddenly stopped working when the Mic continues to work on other devices.

    :)

    USB Mic Problems.

The next step is what I suggested originally. Try it in a friend's PC or take it to Best Buy and ask them to try it one of their PC's. Have to confirm the mic is working OK.

Front Panel Headphones and Mic not working.

    Hey Everyone,

Mobo : ASUS M2N MX SE
    Processor : AMD Athlon X2 5200+
    OS : Windows XP Professional SP2 x86

My Rear panel Speakers and mic works all fine. I got a new set of headphones(with mic) when i connect it to the front panel they don't work. NO SOUND OUTPUT.

I updated the audio drivers. I tried a few many things but I still can't get them running.
My default Sound Manager is Realtek HD Audio Manager.

Please help me get my Front Panel working. A step-by-step guide would be better.
    Thanks.
