Windows 10: Windows Mixed Reality "Couldn't install Windows Mixed Reality".

I was recently using my HP Reverb G2 for VR games the other day. But, I updated my pc last night with the recent KB5034467. Now I receive the "Couldn't install Windows Mixed Reality". Yes, I've tried uninstalling the software, unplugging and plugging the headset back in, and checking for updates on Windows settings already. I'm on Windows 11 23H2 and like I said, it worked perfectly fine until I updated to the new quality update. I tried uploading the error message, but it didn't allow me to. In short here is what it says.Couldn't install Windows Mixed Reality.Windows Mixed Reality needs a

Windows Mixed Reality Issues

on this link to get more information about other troubleshooting steps you can perform. I recommend that
you check the section Mixed Reality headset displays since most of the symptoms you
described fall under it.

I understand that you are facing issues connecting the Lenovo Mixed Reality headset and you get your message “Connect your headset”. We will certainly assist you with this issue.

Usually, we see this message if the device is not connected properly or the Device Manager is unable to load the drivers for the headset.

The use of USB or HDMI extension cables is not officially supported with Windows Mixed Reality headsets. Due to varying resulting signal integrity and bus power between your PC's USB controller and the Mixed Reality headset, the use of such cables
may significantly impact your Mixed Reality experience.

I would suggest you to check the steps under section“I get a message that says "Connect your headset" even though I’ve plugged in my headset”
in
Troubleshooting Windows Mixed Reality.

If you are using adapters you may also want to check the article on
Recommended adapters.

However, the issue could be due to the use of extension cables. Please let us know what happens when you connect the headset without using the extension cables.
