Windows 10: Windows mouse input ruined by Rinput , how can I get it back?

Hello,So I found this software called Rinput, which was said to provide a true raw mouse input into a selected game. I tried it, didnt like what it did, but even thought it was supposed to be running only when opened manually and set with the exact application, it somehow bugged out and ruined my mouse movement all throughout.Now the wierd mouse movement persists even through reinstalls of the game, deletion of the original Rinput files and computer restarts. It is noticable that it "kicks in" and starts itself shortly after the windows start booting. It must have changed something in Windows

Windows 10 upgrade problem, no input accepted

I really hate having to come here and ask for help, but I really am stumped. It hurts my geek pride. I have a PC with fairly modern hardware in it. It has a p8p67 pro in it. I have tried upgrading windows 10 on it twice now. Both times I have had the same result.

After windows finishes upgrading it goes to the log in/set up screen. I can't do anything. No keyboard or mouse input is accepted.

I will list some, or hopefully all, of the troubleshooting steps I have tried:

• Move keyboard and mouse to different USB ports.
• Try different keyboard or mouse.
• Restart computer, repeatedly.
• Google for related issues.
• Update Bios, because why not.
• Create boot media and revert to windows 7.

The windows 10 system restore boot media works fine with keyboard and mouse. All USB ports work in windows 7. I don't know what is wrong. I suspect that windows 10 is lacking a driver of some sort, but since the computer accepts no input I have no way of checking for which driver let alone installing it.

Please help me figure this out. If I have to revert back to windows 7 again, I am not going to get it upgraded to windows 10. Thank you in advanced.

i've seen this when the stock USB drivers went kaput. Only ever seen it once - i used a PCI USB 2.0 card and connected the mouse and keyboard to that, and manually updated the USB 2/USB 3 drivers.

 

Mouse/Touch input for Windows Connect

I have seen at least two different extensive threads on this subject without resolution. When connecting an Android device using SmartConnect to Windows Connect, the keyboard function works but the mouse or touch input on the Windows PC does not. Instead
a notification appears directing the user to enable touch input in the Action Center -> Connect area. Microsoft's standard answer is the following:

In the meantime, we recommend that you check the Action Center and check if you're able to see the Allow input from a keyboard or mouse option. If the option is available, follow these steps:

1. Under Action Center, click Connect button.
2. Click the name of the device you're trying to project.
3. Uncheck and check the Allow input from a keyboard or mouse connected to this display option. Kindly refer to the screenshot below:

This, however, does not work. I have tested this on several Windows PCs with and without touchscreens and it makes no difference. The option does not present itself and therefore there is no way to control the connected device from the PC. The creen merely
functions as a remote display. It does not mirror the Android device.

Can you provide a solution?
