Windows 10: Windows movie maker

I'm travelling in a german-speaking part of the world for work. I need to quickly edit an audio file. Normally I would do this in Windows Movie Maker, but now I can't find it because my computer had modified the program names to be in german, and I don't know what the translated name is. Example: the Photos app is now "Fotos". I don't speak german, and the device settings are still fully in french as normal, as they have always been, as is specified in the settings app, but for some reason app names and many buttons within apps are suddenly in a different language.Is this a new feature of Wi

Windows Movie Maker not recognizing .avi files

Follow the below steps to repair Windows Live Movie Maker.

• Type appwiz.cpl in the search box and hit Enter.
• Right click Windows Essentials 2012 and select repair.

As you are facing issue with Windows Movie Maker, I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to repair Windows Movie Maker and check if it helps.

• Press Windows Key, type Control Panel
  and select the same from the list.
• Under Programs, click Uninstall a Program.
• Locate Windows Live Essential then click
  Uninstall/Change.
• When a window appears, select Repair all Windows Live programs.
• Restart your computer after the repair.
