Windows 10: windows movie maker

on W 11 ive been using the free version of windows movie maker and when done I saved projects in the only way that it seemed was allowed. I believed this saved the movie and rendered it as an mp4 file. today I purchased the pro version and now i cant find any of my projects . Is this because the free version didnt allow them to be saved as WMM files and therefore im screwed and neded to start over?

• Type appwiz.cpl in the search box and hit Enter.
• Right click Windows Essentials 2012 and select repair.

As you are facing issue with Windows Movie Maker, I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to repair Windows Movie Maker and check if it helps.

• Press Windows Key, type Control Panel
  and select the same from the list.
• Under Programs, click Uninstall a Program.
• Locate Windows Live Essential then click
  Uninstall/Change.
• When a window appears, select Repair all Windows Live programs.
• Restart your computer after the repair.
