Discus and support Windows MTU active value after pmtu ? in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; How can I get the value for the pmtu windows had coordinated with all network components in path?     Windows MTU active value after pmtu ?


    How can I get the value for the pmtu windows had coordinated with all network components in path?

    I can set it using netsh or registry - but which value is in use after the automatics?

    In switches/ routers I can set mtu, ip mtu, tcp mss...

    But how can I get the information which mtu is in use (not the confired one) by Windows ?

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    We suggest you to contact Internet Support Provider.

    Please refer the below link its about Window Vista, we suggest you to use following steps to open command prompt.

    Windows key +X.

    Click on Command Prompt.

    Follow the suggestion in the link Provided and check.

    Windows MTU active value after pmtu ?

    MTU problem for Xbox live.. PLEASE HELP!

    I warned you that it wasnt gonna work very well
    you can over ride the mtu setting with the above procedure as suggested but
    3g simply is not reliable enough for online gaming ( Hench the xbox live restrictions on mtu to prevent laggy connections / packet spam )
